Jonathan Bennett and his TV personality fiance’ Jaymes Vaughan ties the knot on March 19 in Mexico.
The couple had their wedding ceremony at a resort an hour south of Cancu. They have been together since 2017.
Vaughan on his Twitter shared their photo from People’s coverage during the wedding with a caption, “Happily ever after really does exist! All because I found you. And all because we are now and forever will be US.” He then ended it dubbing ‘Mr. And Mr. Bennett’ and the date of their ceremony.
Bennett, who you might be familiar of as Lindsay Lohan’s love interest in “Mean Girls,” retweeted the same photo, captioning, “I never thought I’d have the courage to live my truth so boldly, and here I am, a proud gay man, who just became the luckiest man on earth. Meet Mr. & Mr. Vaughan.”
They got engaged in fall back in 2020 as Vaughan surprised Bennett with a filmed proposal with a song he wrote just for Bennett.
Vaughan recorded the film while Bennett was away filming the Hallmark movie “The Christmas House,” where he starred his first LGBTQ storyline.
Vaughan and Bennett were also the first LGBTQ couple to get featured on The Knot magazine cover in April 2021, per Bennett’s tweet.
