Daphne Maxwell Reid and Vernee Watson-Johnson, original cast members of “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” are reuniting on Peacock’s reboot of the said series on March 24, said the streaming service on Monday.

Reid replaced Janet Hubert as Aunt Viv in season four and joined with Watson-Johnson, who played Will Smith’s mom Viola “Vi” Smith, to play new roles named Helen and Janice, Art Council Board of Trustee members.

“Fresh Prince” aired on NBC from 1990 to 1996, starred Hollywood star Will Smith, “Bel-Air” centers on a teenager Will Smith, which will be played this time by Jabari Banks, his struggles in moving from West to Philadelphia under his wealthy aunt and uncle’s mansion in Bel-Air.

Banks, who plays the new Will Smith said on The Hollywood Interview, “I definitely feel like I’m taking the Will character and forming my own experiences around it in this new light and this new era.”
