Hollywood star and eight-time Oscar nominee Bradley Cooper is launching a new production banner, according to Deadline. Cooper and Weston Middleton are set to produce Hyperion based on its four-volume series of Dan Simmons novels.

It is a project that Cooper has been working on. From TV’s Syfy, Hyperion is now moving to Warner Bros. motion pictures, along with Oscar winner Graham King.

Hyperion was a limited series for Syfy and now will be adapted as a feature by Tom Spezialy, the Emmy-winning EP of HBO’s limited series Watchmen. The director spot is yet to be claimed. The limited series being adapted into a movie shall enable more breadth and depth which the narrative demands.
